West - Day Twenty - July 12, 2005

I didn't really hit the road until almost 11 am this morning after stopping at a full service gas station (yes, they still exist) to check the oil, fluids, tires, etc, a Chase ATM machine, and a drugstore to stock up on tissues. It was a slow drive back through Rocky Mountain NP again, up over 12,000 feet. The park area is notably different than the other parts of the Rocky Mountains that I drove through on previous days...it is understandable why this area was designated a national park. From there, I headed west on route 40 through Steamboat Springs and on to Craig, CO....small town USA. The hotel felt more run down so I decided to get out of the room and go to the movie playing in town - "Bewitched". Pretty light....save it for video or a plane ride.
